A 67-year female presented with refractory tachycardia and heart failure due to persistent atrial fibrillation. She was admitted to the coronary care unit. Medicines were ineffective to control the heart rate. She successfully underwent “AV node ablation” & a novel “left bundle branch pacing- single chamber pacemaker” implant. She improved very well with this unconventional strategy.
