A 64-year old female from Sudan came with symptoms of severe heart failure due to mitral
regurgitation. This patient was treated with mitral valve replacement surgery followed by pacemaker
implantation using a novel ‘conduction system’ pacemaker. After hospital stay of 25 days, the patient got
discharged in good health and is back at Port Sudan.
