November Focus: Intracardiac Electrograms! Dive into EPS & RFA essentials—key techniques, wave interpretations, and case insights for effective arrhythmia care.
A 20-year old female with incessant palpitations was taken for cardiac EP study (EPS) procedure under local
anaesthesia. The EPS revealed “focal atrial tachycardia” arising from the “right atrial appendage”. This is a rare form
of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). However, this patient was treated successfully with RF ablation and was
cured of the problem. The girl is not taking any medications and is doing well.
