A 26-year-old with persistent palpitations due to Atrial Tachycardia underwent successful Radiofrequency Ablation, achieving symptom relief without medication.
26-year male was symptomatic with incessant palpitations. ECG had suspicion of Atrial Tachycardia. These episodes never terminated with injection adenosine. The tachycardia was more responsive to betablockers. However, there were frequent breakthrough episodes. Cardiac EPS revealed focal atrial tachycardia arising from the crista terminalis. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) at the origin of the tachycardia led to termination. The young male was henceforth relieved of his symptoms. He is not on any cardiac medications. The figure shows intracardiac electrograms at the site of origin of AT. The 3d electroanatomical mapping on the right side shows the right atrium.
